Recommended for use in combination with Clear Detox - Digestive Health.
Inositol, part of the B complex vitamins, acts as a lipotropic agent, used to export fat from the liver.
Choline (Bitartrate): Choline is a methyl donor that moves fat out of the liver and is used for chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis and hypercholesterolemia.
Betaine HCl is a delivery form of hydrochloric acid. In the stomach, the hydrochloric acid converts pepsinogen to pepsin, an enzyme that breaks down protease.
Dandelion is a blood purifier, bitter, cholagogue, choleretic, mild laxative and liver cleanser.
Milk Thistle contains flavonoids known as Silymarin, which increases the liver’s content of GSH (glutathione). Lab experiments show that Silybin fights for estrogen receptor sites.
Artichoke is a choleretic and cholagogue. Indications include dyspepsia, hyperlipidemia, IBS, appetite loss, sluggish liver, poor digestion, constipation and atherosclerosis.
Ascorbic acid is one of the best studied antioxidants, shown to prevent damage by free radicals. Vitamin C maintains reduced glutathione concentrations in the blood and improves the overall antioxidant protection capacity. It is needed for connective tissue, immune function, and protection against the effects of stress.
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine HCl) plays a role in certain metabolic reactions. Thiamine is an important co-factor, along with vitamin B12 in helping the brain cells make myelin to insulate nerves.
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) us a B vitamin that is crucial to mitochondrial energy production.
Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) is an important vitamin for maintaining a healthy cardiovascular system and metabolism -especially balancing blood cholesterol levels. Niacinamide also helps with brain function and maintenance of diabetes.
Vitamin B6 (Pyroxine HCl) plays a role in approximately 100 enzymes that catalyze essential chemical reactions in the human body. The body needs vitamin B6 in order to absorb vitamin B12 and to make red blood cells as well as cells of the immune system.
Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin) is needed to prevent a vitamin B12 deficiency and to lower homocysteine by donating a methyl group. Consuming an already methylated form of vitamin B12 is ideal as it has the ability to help donate a methyl group immediately.
Folic Acid has important roles in detoxification, nervous system function, breast tissue health and prenatal development. It works together with vitamin B12 as a methyl-group donor in the conversion of homocysteine back to methionine.
Biotin, a water soluble B vitamin, acts as a coenzyme in the metabolism of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. It plays a role in immune function, glucose metabolism (Diabetes Type I and II), fatty acid metabolism and nervous system function.
Vitamin B5 (Calcium Pantothenate) is needed for neurotransmitter formation and stress management a it supports the adrenal glands.
Tumeric is an anti-inflammatory, liver protector, antibacterial and antifungal agent.
Green Tea contains catechin polyphenols, which possess strong antioxidant properties. It also helps maintain healthy cholesterol profiles and reduces platelet adhesiveness.
DIM has been shown by research to increase the levels of ‘favourable’ estrogens while reducing the level of ‘less favourable’ estrogens.
Broccoli is high in sulforaphane, an important stimulator of phase 2 enzyme detoxification in the liver. Sulforaphane and other isothiocyanates are antioxidants and stimulators of natural detoxifying enzymes in the body.
Calcium D-Glucarate is a substance which assists and strengthens glucuronidation, the important Phase 2 detoxification pathway, which reduces serum estrogen levels and assists in the detoxification and excretion of xenobiotics, lipid-soluble toxins and steroid hormones.
Magnesium Glycinate helps with cramps and/or spasms (muscle cramps, twitching, chronic neck and back pain), stress, depression, anxiety, PMS, insomnia, headaches, and hypoglycemia. It is also involved in neurotransmitter synthesis.
